Mashaallah very beautiful... At first I was scared to go there, u know the rumours about ginn n ghosts. Well took some courage n went there, I was the only one there as it was week day. Palace is open from 9 am till 5 pm. I paid 75 AED, n followed the guide. From the main enterance which is a Hall he showed me all the bedrooms n sun room at the top n maids room at the lower level. I was amazed to see the art on walls. Blue tile work, art from Morocco, India, Persian. The antique chandeliers... it was beautiful. The sun room at the top has very ornate art work. I could not imagine that in 70s when there was less populated area The Shaikh HH made such a beautiful palace. It seems like it’s built on a hill and from the roof top u can see everything around it. The weather was clear n I could see the mountains in far distance. I did not feel scared at all so I asked the guide if it’s open after sunset. He said yes I can visit around 10pm it’s open. I got my chills back n I said no thank you. Anyways one should visit this place it is beautiful. Thanks to Mr Tariq al Sharhan who restored this palace. Now I can say I saw a beautiful palace in RAK. My dream of seeing an old palace from inside came true. Thank you Ras al Khaimah government for this...

Recently, I heard about a tourist spot in Ras Al Khaimah and decided to contact the number listed online. I inquired about all the details and was pleasantly surprised by how patiently, clearly, and politely the person on the line responded. He was extremely courteous and calm, and answered everything with ease.

Eventually, I visited the so-called “Haunted Palace” — and truly, it was haunted by art, heritage, diverse cultures, rare pieces, and valuable artworks crafted from fine woods, leather, and designs reminiscent of royal, Victorian, and classical eras. These refined eras deeply resonate with me and reflect the beauty and creativity I witnessed.

During my visit, I realized that the person I had spoken to was no less creative or inspiring than the artworks themselves. I felt truly grateful and honored to have communicated so effortlessly with the humble owner, whose character and accomplishments are nothing short...

Amazing house with lot of rooms and artwork ! People say theere is ghost but its not true ! There is family issues and thats why people not stay here ! Recently this house is used for malayalam movie ayesha shooting ! Its a nice house with flooring and tiling and roofing done by persian architecture ! There are lot of architectual marvels and lot of antiques available here ! It can be considered a museum rather than a house ! On the Top floor there is a roof with star signs which is so good to watch ! Every one should try to watch this if you like art and culture ! Ticket prices are 100 per head

We had a really nice time visiting the palace. The young Bengali man showed us around and was very helpful and friendly during the tour, he explained to us about where all the furniture and artwork in the palace was from. The gentleman at the ticket counter was funny and welcoming - he was joking about the ghosts inside the palace that if we see one, we were to take a parachute and escape quickly 😄. It's a nice tourist site, there are plans to make a scary theme park there, as well as updating the space with cafes too. Very pretty historical palace.
