We stayed here during weekend and had a nice Party.
Good Points: The Venue is good and has lot o space with lot of Greenery and shade. There is an open ground for outdoor programmes. The Big Villa has 5 Bedrooms and bathrooms and nice space for sleeping, Swimming Pool, some farm area to explore etc. They had a White Donkey too !! They have their own Catering and you can ask for a Meals Package as per your Choice. There is BBQ facility too. There is a Toddy Shop, Thattukada etc. There are Ducks, Country chicken, Cows, rabbits etc. Children will love the place.
Bad Points: In spite of paying a big amount as Rent for the house, there was No Water Kettle, Microwave or Refrigerator. Basically you are forced to go to the Catering for literally everything. Even a cheapest hotel in Ajman would have a Kettle and Fridge in the room. These items are basic requirements. If you want to prepare your own food, tea or milk or baby food, you are unable to do it. May be the Strategy is to get the maximum out of the Guests when it comes to Food plan. I am not sure how we are expected to cook our own food if we wanted to. when we pay the rent, we should also have option of having our own meal plan. There is a small Thattukada in the property and the Menu was ONLY written in Malayalam. So what should the Non Malayalis do to understand the Menu ?
My suggestion to the owner is as follows. Please provide Water Kettle, Fridge and Microwave as a basic amenity. Please do not Lock the Villa Kitchen, Give us the freedom to cook whatever we want inside the Villa. Please give better and cheaper options for food. Our breakfast of Dosa, Chai, Sambar and Chutney was charged Aed 20/ person !! Please install direction markers / General map so that the Guests can move within the property to explore the place. Otherwise you wouldn't know what all things are there. Please publish the Thattukada Menu is English also. We non Malayalis like to relish...
Read moreDid not stay at this place. Went to check out the place and buy some toddy but they had no stock then. Though the place had a good area with alot of play options for kids and birds and cattle around, I felt it was very poorly maintained. If the area is very clean and tidy and well maintained with options of sheesha, and entertainment and good hot food with nice toddy, I think this place has a good potential if looked into all these negative feedbacks the place is getting from the customers who stayed there. Also noticed it's not well marketted. Loads of improvement needed. There was enough parking spaces and the entrance had a small thattukada (food stall). There are many round tables and chairs for families to gather and sit, but they were not at all clean. Will be hard to maintain it being outdoor in this weather as well. Most of the areas look very abandoned. The rents I heard is very pricey I felt for the amenities they are providing. If there is advanced booking atleast there should be some programmes supported by the staff or owners. Location to the venue needs to be improved where sign boards could be put up for easily...
Read moreExtremely poor service, worst management, not hygienic, not maintained and over priced. Seems bedsheets in the staycation rooms arenât cleaned for ages and hygiene of rooms are extremely poor. Donât know how they are able to maintain their license. Thank god we didnât book the staycation along with our event. There is only 1 bathroom for almost 8 rooms (20 people). Not at all recommended for families and ladies. There is no one to take ownership but are good in taking whole payment in advance. Never pay them in advance. If you do, you may end up following up with owner and staff for ever. Place is not at all recommended for organising events. If you are booking, please ensure you forecast AED 3000 as miscellaneous expense. Sound system didnât work, AC didnât work. I thought we are the only team booked this place recently. Extremely poorly...
