Amazing place, where else can you find fossilised sea creatures in the middle of the desert. The hill side partially collapsed revealing fossilised shells, fish bones and corals. It's an hour's drive from Dubai and 95% accessible by car, no need for 4x4. A great day trip for children.

We went there after it was opened on 20th january..The entry fee is very minimal ...verygood for kids as they can get to know geographicalfeature of Sharjah and its surrounding region..The place has seen many civilisation starting from stone age. The place gives a clear idea of how a fold mountain is formed and different kinds of rocks...
