Al Wathba park is one of my favorite parks with hundreds of square meters of green space. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this park is really offering some nice place for family get-together. Barbeque is allowed here. Cycling is allowed. Plenty if space for families and children to enjoy a full day picnic. The park is full of high lush green trees and play areas for children of different ages. However this time I noticed something very strange... around 10 to 12 trees with very thick trunks were cut at around 12-15 feet from ground with not a single leaf left on it. Only a Dry Trunk with no signs of life in it. I urge the authorities to check and ensure that no trees are cut. Specially the old trees which are tall and thick. There are many bird species which builds nests at very high trees. Hope no other tree is cut anymore. This time also I noticed that the toilets were very dirty and unusable.
