Marhaba 👋
My recent visit to the desert in Dubai was a truly remarkable experience that left me in awe of the region's natural beauty and cultural heritage. The desert landscape, with its vast expanse of golden sands and undulating dunes, provided a breathtaking backdrop for adventure and exploration.
One of the highlights of my desert experience was the exhilarating dune bashing excursion. Riding in a 4x4 vehicle, expert drivers navigated the towering sand dunes with skill and precision, creating an adrenaline-fueled ride that left me both thrilled and amazed. The heart-pounding twists, turns, and steep descents across the dunes offered a thrilling adventure that is sure to delight any thrill-seeker.
As the sun began to set, I witnessed the mesmerizing beauty of a desert sunset. The sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant hues, with shades of orange, pink, and purple painting the horizon. It was a magical moment, and I found myself captivated by the tranquility and serenity of the desert as the golden rays of the sun slowly faded away.
To delve deeper into the desert's cultural heritage, I had the opportunity to engage in traditional activities such as camel riding and falconry. Riding on the back of a gentle camel, I experienced the timeless mode of transportation used by the Bedouin people, gaining a sense of their nomadic lifestyle and connection with the desert. The falconry demonstration allowed me to witness the remarkable bond between the falcon and its handler, and I marveled at the grace and precision of these magnificent birds of prey.
One of the most memorable aspects of my desert experience was the traditional Bedouin-style camp. Nestled in the heart of the desert, the camp offered a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the region. Traditional Arabic music filled the air, and I savored the flavors of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, including succulent grilled meats, aromatic spices, and delectable desserts. The camp also featured henna painting, shisha smoking, and mesmerizing belly dance performances, providing a truly immersive cultural experience.
Overall, my desert Dubai experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The vastness and grandeur of the desert landscape, coupled with the thrilling adventures and cultural insights, made it a journey to remember. Whether you seek adrenaline-pumping activities, serene moments of contemplation, or a deeper understanding of Arabian culture, the desert in Dubai offers a captivating and unforgettable experience for...
Read moreMaybe I'm not a desert person at all, but this tour was a pretty big disappointment to me. Riding around in cars is fun in theory, but I wouldn't recommend it for those, that suffer from car sickness or ate something before the trip. Desert itself is only a vast sandy and windy area, like a beach without the fun part (sea, duh). The camp we went to later on looked rather cheap and carelessly thrown together. There were attractions like getting henna tattoos (cool), riding on a camel (no thanks, but I petted them), watching some dances (meh) and a dinner (again, meh). On the plus side it wasn't terribly expensive, but it still felt mostly like a wasted time to me. I guess I didn't manage my expectations well, but, on the other hand, no one in my group was...
Read moreA desert camp managed by the Government. Absolutely safe and professional. You cannot buy a entry ticket directly and have to book through a tour company. I have booked a 6-hours tour through Arabian Adventures and it was really worth the money. The driver, Mr.Fazal (whose name means Blessing in Arabic), drive us through the desert and done some amazing dune bashing. You can also see gazelle along the way. At 6 p.m, you would arrive to the sunset-watching place. After that you would come to a night camp in the middle of desert to have dinner and watch dancing shows, including fire dance and belly dance. You can do a camel ride right in front of the camp. Amazing...
