Hanging Gardens in Kalba, a must-visit spot in Sharjah that offers both nature and adventure in one amazing package. The Hanging Gardens are located on the Sharjah-Kalba road (S/E102). If you’re heading east, take the exit to the upper track just before Al Heyar Tunnel. For the lower area, which leads to the main entrance, exit after the tunnel at the end of the parking lot. Clear signage will guide you, so you can focus on the adventure ahead. If you're visiting Kalba, it takes almost 2 hours to reach here, so you might as well plan for a whole day and add a few more spots to your visit. If you choose the Hanging Gardens, you’ll get views, a waterfall, Arabic food, and family fun. This place has something for everyone. Let’s dive in!

The entrance to the Hanging Gardens is 5dhs per adult and 2dhs for children at the moment! Now, parking costs 10dhs per hour. I know! its expensive right? The payment is managed via the Mawqef app. But here’s the catch: the clock starts ticking as soon as you enter, even if you’re still looking for a spot. so Here’s a little tip: if you park at the upper level, the fee is much lower compared to the main entrance. We made the mistake of parking at the main entrance, so I’m sharing this tip so you don’t get overcharged. Also, be sure to arrive at least by 3 PM. Finding a spot after 4 PM can be challenging.

There are two entrances—one near the upper parking level and one closer to the lower area. The upper entrance gives you a great view of the gardens and the surrounding area. The parks are well maintained. The view from the top is beyond words.

For a relaxed experience, hop on the mini train! It’s a fantastic way to explore the park while sitting back and enjoying the scenery. The train can carry up to 55 passengers, making stops at key spots throughout the park. Tickets are just 2dhs per adult and this needs to be purchased at the entrance.

If you're into skating, there's a skating area on the left side of the park, perfect for kids and adults. The shop near the skating area was vacant though, so for now, bring your skates along with you.

Ladies, beware of the wind—it can get breezy here, so choose your outfit wisely. If you are here between December-February, do layer up! Its very cold here!

My dear Muslim travelers, please note, there’s no prayer room available at the park, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Just a quick heads-up: barbecuing isn’t allowed here, so leave those grills at home and enjoy the views. Pets are not allowed in the park either.

While you’re exploring, don’t miss the Lebanese restaurant inside the park, perfect for a meal with a view. There’s also another restaurant at the top—if you're parked on the upper level, you'll get a stunning view while dining.

The highlight of this place is its waterfalls! The sound of the waterfall and the beauty surrounding the area make it the perfect spot for a picnic as well. Stick around to see the night view of the waterfalls as it's worth waiting! Thank me later!

A breathtaking highlight is the Vertical Garden, located alongside the stairs on either side of the waterfall. Are you ready to take on the stairs? These trails lead you through stunning landscapes and get some exercise while you're at it. When you enter, I recommend heading to the stairs on your right if you’re entering from the main entrance—it’s the best route to catch both the waterfalls and the beautiful flowers on the way up.
