This is a very beautiful beach. Well worth the hike. Amazing views. The hiking trail starts at the north end of the park, goes up over and around the mountain and down to Heart Beach and then from the beach back around the south end to an empty lot. There is a padlock on the gate preventing you to exit the lot at the end of the trail. There is no signage to advise this.
Be Cautious! There was a security guard at the empty lot at the end of the trail, who claims he has a Sudanese boss who owns the mountain, the hiking trail and Heart Beach and tries to get you to pay money to let you through. When you request to pass he says he is the security guard here to protect the land and then states if you have money you can buy (your right to pass). When we said we would go back the way we come from he said he would have to stop us. We asked to speak to his boss and he said his boss was back on the beach but we could not go back to the beach. He kept repeating (a little more forceful with each repetition) if you have money you can buy. Only when he realised my friend was Khaleeji he suddenly had a change of his request and unlocked the gate to let us out. So, would suggest to not be alone and be careful of this security guard...

However, if you do intend to go swimming, be cautious of what you may find underwater and at the shore line (leeches, sea urchins and small coral reef snakes) considering this ISN’T your normal go-to beach. Chances of getting stung are possibly high if you’re closer to the coral rocks. Sea turtles are something you could find if you get here by the...
