Fossil Rock الصخور الأحفورية — Attraction in Milehah

Dont get me wrong for giving it a 1 star. The place is beautiful but not safe at all. We were there yesterday, planned camp overnight and do some bbq, both didnt happen as someone stole everything (tent, chairs, our bags, clothes, sleeping bags even the water, food, charcoal and wood!). Good thing we brought our wallets in another bag that we brought to our hike to fossil rock. We didnt hesitate leaving our things since it's a safe country. When we came back the only thing left were the tire marks those people left after taking our stuffs. Sharjah police were helpful (they even went back with us to our camp site) but they couldnt do anything since its impossible to track what theyve stolen. So, lesson learned, dont be complacent leaving your stuff as well as your car far from you. At the police station, weve met 2 groups of people. The hike to Fossil Rock is very funny, as you will bave to walk through sand and rocks, you will need to slightly climb up the mountain and make it as challenging as you want (there are different options to climb up/down depending what you want to do). The hike is not very demanding (a bit over 300m of elevation) but it can be dangerous when it requires to climb the rocks. I wouldn’t say it is for beginners, but I have no experience climbing and still went through it with no problems, you just need to be careful with the sliding rocks. The views are stunning from the top, it’s simply amazing. A couple of hours it’s all you need to go up and down at a slow pace and stopping to take pictures and recover from the walk while you are going up. Out class its a place to praise nature and see the karisma. Truely spell bound so much to explore here i came here many timesbefore but really today is the first time i exploreed and see things which i read in reviews by my own eyes. Guys this place was under water some thousands years ago and signs of fossils rock formation and small bones of sea animals which i dont even know which kingdom they belong too but i must say its not only fun and adventure place but it have archeological back groud things are not sealed or barred so guys must visit this place i will share some videos more on this. Near by there is an archelogical site 130000 years old which is from bronze age era not far from fossil rocks only 10mins drive you can find there rich history.
