It's a bit tricky to find exact location, as Google map is showing wrong way towards the end of destination where there is a villa and you can't go thru someone's villa (Though you can see the mangrove spot from highway). Leave the villa behind and aprox 2km turn right if you're from RAK to UAQ direction (if you miss it you may end up to reach Horse R/A in UAQ). Around 1km drive take a sudden right to unpaved road (Here you'll find a standing sign of Mangrove Beach) which will lead you towards destination. In between you'll notice more small sign of directions. Don't worry any car (Sedan/4x4) can access. It's under developing project in Umm Al Quwain. Right now I would like to say it's a natural hidden gem in UAE. In coming years it would be a potential tourists destination. A small Sandy Beach made this mangrove spot more attractive which is totally different senerio of a deserted county. There is a gate for access to the beach with entrance fees (20 Dhs/car), you can put tent for camping, swimming and BBQ as well as renting kayak. But read the "warning board" before setting up. Till now there is no toilet/bath facility, fees collector informed us within 2/3 days toilet will be ready. Nevertheless we enjoyed a lot specially kids. Water label was below knee. Kayak boat rent cost - one hour 75 Dhs (Single) and 100 Dhs (Double), which is fair enough for a whole family for one hour. Not necessarily you have to pay and access the beach, People are sitting and enjoying around the whole mangrove area but without beach access.

A Verdant Labyrinth The sun was a golden orb, filtering through the dense canopy of mangrove trees. Their gnarled roots, like serpentine tendrils, intertwined and writhed above the muddy ground. I navigated this verdant labyrinth, the air thick with the sweet scent of salt and decay. The beach was a stark contrast to the lush interior. Fine, white sand stretched out as far as the eye could see, interrupted only by occasional patches of exposed roots. The tide was out, revealing a teeming ecosystem of crabs, snails, and small fish darting between the mangrove's labyrinthine roots. As I ventured deeper, the trees grew taller and their leaves thicker. Sunlight struggled to penetrate the dense foliage, casting long, dancing shadows on the forest floor. The air was still and humid, the only sound the occasional rustle of leaves or the distant cry of a seabird. I came across a small, secluded lagoon. Its waters were a deep, inky blue, reflecting the sky above. A few colorful fish darted through the crystal-clear water, their scales shimmering in the sunlight. I sat on the edge of the lagoon, listening to the soothing sounds of nature. As the sun began its descent, casting the forest in a warm, golden glow, I realized the importance of these unique ecosystems. Mangroves, with their intricate root systems, protect coastlines from erosion. They also provide vital habitat for a wide variety of marine life. As I made my way back to the beach, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the beauty and resilience of this natural wonder.

We came for overnight camping entrance itself we paid 100 per tent.. keep the tickets handy because the security is checking now and then.. we entered zone 2 facing the mangrove beach.. we went by 2pm in the afternoon and got a perfect spot under the shade(only 3 shades available).. cars have to be parked in one place.. we can bring in and unload the things asking the security, and park the car back outside.. garbage is available everywhere in camping area.. we made barbecue very comfortable.. only inconvenience is the washroom is little far like we have to go by 5 mins walk.. for kids it was little tough so we went in car to the washroom area.. Pets are allowed so we were unable to sleep properly because of sound.. With kids it's a perfect spot for camping.. we reached little early to play in the water, kayaking etc.. Kayaking is expensive Late night also security are there.. we felt secure and safe for sleeping with kids.. Next day morning we found the beach water level completely dropped and all water disappeared.. so kids got disappointed.. For washrooms better to carry our own tissue because after 10pm due to so much usage the washrooms are bad..
