This is an Iron Age hill fort, not a castle as Anna de Burca has said. There is parking, well sort of, room for three cars with a couple of laybys. There are steps around the steepest grades but care is still needed, There are wide ranging views from the top, right over to Portland Bill. But it is a hill fort so is exposed and the wind will get you with full force, especially from the top, which has an OS Trig Point.
