Had a great day at Bardsey Island, ynys Enlli, yesterday. The ferry was a'n easy pick up and drop off. You Park your car i'n designated area then walk down the road to the boat ramp. It can also be a bit more than just a blast across the water as Colin the Skipper had time on our return from the Island to show us some of the local seabird nesting areas. I saw my first puffin. Read moreI took the road route down to this bay and have previously taken the coast walk from Aberdaron. Both are lovely quiet routes. Both times, someone has been working down there as I believe it's an active fishing launch and where the boat departs for Bardsey. It's worth a visit to watch bird life, turn over pebbles, and shells. Next time, I will take litter picking equipment as sadly there were loads of dangerous to sea...

There are two, nice well maintained short walks down to the beach, a higher and lower one.
