There are several steep but easy walks to the monument at the top of the hill and it has a beautiful view of the area from the top. There is very little evidence of the iron age fort construction around the hill although I wonder if the ancient building remains were used to construct the monument? Iron age people living on the hill would have had a complete view...

Firstly google took me to a housing estate, and I walked up from there, it looks like you can park towards the sea and that's the official route. I've seen this tower every time I visit aberystwyth and I'm glad I climbed to see the view. Not what I was expecting you can't see the town itself just the harbour.
