Lovely place! Highly recommend visiting if you're into natural water features! Just bear in mind that the roads are tricky, tight and at times, quite steep! Definitely keep a thick layer and a waterproof layer on hand, it can be very misty/wet! I recommend boots with ankle support and plenty of grip! (I used Air Forces since it was a last minute choice to go, the struggle was real)

Car park right next to the falls beautiful place but do get out of your car and climb up even half way for beautiful views. It does have some steps but good walking boots recommended as uneven and slippery in places. Well worth the short climb. No one else there so glad we chose a week day and later climb.

Great little stop for a picnic and some lovely pics! Two single tracks ( 1 high, 1 low ) will take you directly to waterfall which is about 40 metres from parking. Not for dogs ( I have 3 ) is my personal opinion.

Drove from Keswick past the Derwent water marina and through Stair following signs to Buttermere on to a fabulous winding country road that takes you within 250 yds of this lovely waterfall where there is a free parking area. The parking area also serves as an easier half mile walk to Knott Rigg. The path to Moss Force is narrow and stoney and is an easy walk but not suitable for push chairs. The path splits into 2 half way up with the left fork going lower falls and the right to the top falls. The view from the top is fab looking down Newlands pass and Skiddaw in...

Spectacular waterfall. Only being a short 5 minute walk from the parking area, this water fall makes for a lovely stop during your scenic drive from Keswick to Buttermere. The drive through the valley, is both fun and breathing taking, and if done on a clear sunny day, you'll find yourself basking in the midst of the beautiful Lake District roads. The carpark is free, however I can see it getting very busy at the height of summer or on a bank holiday, so get here early, like before 8am, especially of you what to make the most of the...

A stunning drive to this location. Carpark at the top. This is a fantastic place for all abilities. 1. Waterfall very short walk from carpark see pic. 2. EPIC View of Catbells in distance from car park or waterfall. 3. Walk up hill towards Buttermere direction for views of Buttermere and....SCOTLAND over the Solway to the North. Very Steep but worth the effort for people who can. Sunset and Sunrise location. Plenty of soft Sheep grazed grass for picnics. Bluebells are around too. No Facilities. This place is Bloody...
