A very nice country side park with a good visitor centre that has a cafe and seating inside and out. There are 2 bird hides and an accessible pool to walk around. It is built above a valley on old mining area... There are lots of info boards dotted around... so there are lots of hills but we managed to get my mum down to the river in a wheelchair, holding it tightly and going slowly! There is a train stop near to the river Severn that the Severn Valley (steam) trains stops at. You can walk to the Hampton loade station along the river. There are lots of walks in the area and various habitats. Also a Children's play park.

I came here for the first time today. I live in Birmingham, so it's an hour journey for me. My friend suggested coming here to use the Bird Hides for my hunt for a Kingfisher photo. Saw no Kingfisher's. Still had some great images even with the rainy weather. Would definitely come back.

Always worth a visit. The bird hide / feeding station is always a joy and the Kingfishers are beautiful. The cafe has been taken over and is now open until 5pm every day. The cakes are just yummy and the latte was the best I've had in a long time.

Regular favourite for our weekly walk. Well maintained paths and wide enough to walk 2 abreast and still allow others to pass (I guide a blind person). The main route back to the coffee shop and car park is a steady incline but not overly taxing if you have reasonable mobility. Just take it slow and use the benches along the way if needed. Coffee shop staff are great. Always friendly and happy to chat if it’s not too busy and you’re that way inclined. Also not so chatty as to make you feel obliged to have a conversation, if you’re not a chatty person. Highly recommend the tea cakes and...

One of the best country parks we have visited, with magnificent views stretching for miles. You can see and hear the Severn Valley Railway trains in the distance.

Ideal for children and adults alike. It's a dogwalkers paradise!

There's lots of interesting walks and trails to enjoy and a very good snack cafe with good variety of fresh sandwiches and toasties.

The children's play area is good for young children with items made of wood.

There is also a very good history of how it was a mining area with descriptive, educational...
