Wingfield Manor — Attraction in Amber Valley

Googled this place and it says OPEN every day but it's actually CLOSED. Place not well sign posted from road either. No closed notice at first Heritage board or second Heritage board. Very small sign on a wall opposite the Manor when you get to top and what looks like a car park at the Manor was gated and locked. Phoned the number on Google site spoke to Robert who says only open every so often, need to ring to book and it's closed anyway for masonary repair until April 2019. Be handy if they put a note on the site on Google and at the bottom of the lane entrance to this effect. He did say there's is an apology note on the Heritage site but it needs putting on Google as well as current info is misleading and not everyone is a Heritage member. Would avoid an unnecessary...

I used to roam freely round the manor when I was a boy. Now it's fenced off and only open every blue moon. I'm sure it costs too much also but I haven't bothered to find out.
