We had the perfect stay here.

Suzanne shared loads of suggestions of things to do while we were there which was amazing. It’s a great location.

We were able to go Aira Force Waterfall on the way, had the best food of our lives at Pentonbridge inn, went on a walk to Lambley Viaduct, had amazing food at Hidden River cafe and went stargazing at Kielder Observatory.

We stayed in Salutation and the apartment was huge. We walked round the grounds multiple times as the view is amazing.

The fenced-in area to let the dog off the lead is huge. Everything was dog friendly and so welcoming.

The walled garden is beautiful and Suzanne was so helpful in making our weekend perfect as she helped set up the summer house so I could propose.

We got stuck in the mud just outside the grounds. Jeff and John helped us immediately and John even got all the mud off our car!

Thank you so much to everyone at Netherby Hall for making our weekend...

Visited Netherby Hall for Mothers day Afternoon tea. Food was fantastic, staff are very friendly and helpful. Fabulous venue for Afternoon tea, which they hold monthly. We were sat in the Oak room, a fabulous oak paneled dining room with 2 fantastic open fires, looking on to the amazing gardens awash with daffodils. Highly recommended for Afternoon tea, they also have 5 star Holiday apartments and hold various events throughout the year. Fantastic visit, thank you. (Sadly they no longer hold the Afternoon teas at Netherby...

Absolutely wonderful stay!!! Booked to stay in late October with my wife, daughter and her friend. Booked the Gardeners Cottage for 2 nights. The cottage was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm on arrival. The log fire was so cosy and loads of extra fire wood available (no extra cost).

Lots of room inside the cottage too with a large open lounge/kitchen area.

The gardens are lovely and really big. Our dog loved exploring and chasing the squirrels!!!

Will definitely return, thanks so much to Helen...

Outstanding Gin. I was lucky enough to sample the first batch of Netherby Hall's Gin, layered with Tonka Bean, Angelica, Coriander, Red Oxalis, Lemon Verbena, Orris Root and Rose Petals - all from their own walled garden! I have not yet been able to stay in their apartments but i'll be sure to do so one day. Thanks to all the hard-working staff for their professional ethos and attentive nature, even in these trying times.
