We visited Colin Glen from Dublin on a Sunday hoping to try the Black Bull Run alpine coaster, but it was under repair. Honestly, that turned out to be a blessing in disguise—we decided to give the zipline a go instead, and it completely made our day! We ended up doing the River Rapid Zipline—Ireland’s longest—and it was absolutely incredible. The views over the trees and river were stunning, and the adrenaline rush from flying 700 meters at high speed was next-level. We hadn’t planned on it, but it turned into the highlight of our visit. The staff were friendly and made us feel safe and excited before takeoff. They also accommodated our preferred time. Everything was really well run and organized. Even with the change of plans, we felt like we got the full experience. The area is beautiful, and the facilities were clean and easy to navigate. Can’t wait to come back when the coaster is up and running again—but even if it’s not, I’d do that zipline all over again. Highly recommend...

A real hidden Gem in Colin Glen Forest | Belfast

Are you ready for your next family adventure. If so you need to visor the Black Bull Run at Colin Glen Forest, Belfast. An all round family experience for toddler to Granny and Granda. We all thoroughly enjoyed this exhilarating ride which began with a warm welcome from staff that looked like they enjoyed what they were doing. It was great to see smiles and hear giggles and laughter again, as it had been a long time since we were all able to go out together. Being outdoors and even though it was a cold day the thrill of the ride soon warmed you up. Thank you so much to the staff and team behind the scenes for making us feel normal again. Keep up the good work. A real hidden gem in Colin Glen Forest Park.

Tip: enter at the Mountain entrance to Colin Glen Forest Park and look out for the Zip-wire Tower from the car par, the Bull Run is right next to this

Excellent value for money and highly recommended for...

Went along Sunday morning/ afternoon Free car parking. Enthusiastic, friendly staff who are safety focused without being Killjoys. I booked the Zipline package and Black Bull run, which got us a single run on both zip wires and 3 goes on the rollercoaster. It does stack up pricewise but boy was it worth it! We were done on both ziplines after an hour and would have had 2 hours spare before Black Bull. Staff were really flexible in letting us jump onto the Bull straight away. Note: you have to climb up a wooden tower to do the long zip line, which was a good 8-10 flights of stairs. Activity isn’t cancelled for 4 season Belfast weather, so bring waterproofs! Got hailstones right in my eyes for the longer zipline! The upshot is the rain made for extra slippy and faster rides on the Bull :) Amazing place and great to see West Belfast...

We recently visited Colin Glen in Belfast and tried the zip line and the Alpine Coaster for £80 for two people. While the activities themselves were fun, we felt the price was a bit steep for the experience. The biggest downside was the waiting time despite the zip line lasting less than a minute, we had to wait nearly two hours due to a large group of around 25-30 people ahead of us. If you're planning to go, definitely choose a sunny day, as waiting around in the cold can be quite unpleasant. The staff were friendly, but the long wait times took away from the overall experience. It could be better organized to ensure smoother transitions between participants.

Funniest experience in Northern Ireland! We were able to book into the Forest Flyover Zipline & it was so so much fun!!! They are building a taller & longer one & I will definitely be back to do it. Staff are fabulous! Super friendly, welcoming & calming. I wish we could have done the bull run as well but it was fully books months in advance. I highly recommend booking way before your visit so you can guarantee both attractions. Well worth the money!
