A very enjoyable afternoon with friends, in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, time flew by making the festive wreaths. Using different foliage options provided from the garden, this guided workshop gives the freedom to create your own design. The mulled wine, tea/coffee and sweet treats were a lovely touch, the mini warm mice pies were delicious! It is nice to know that the workshops, support the ongoing restoration work in the Walled Garden. Thank you.

Visited the Walled Garden as they were hosting an Escape to the Garden Tour. We had a lovely morning learning about the owner's efforts to restore the garden as well as an informative talk about no dig gardening. Homemade refreshments and cakes were provided as well as live music, all set in beautiful surroundings. Looking forward to going back for one of their market days when you can buy fresh cut flowers and organic vegetables.

Another fabulous day at the Walled Garden. I came home with two willow swifts that will adorn my garden fence. Lorraine puts on a super spread, with homemade cakes and for lunch homemade bread, quiche and salads. Heather was her usual patient unflappable self, helping us all to achieve our own works of art to take home. This was my fourth willow weaving workshop at the Walled Garden and I will definitely be back again.

I had a wonderful day at the Walled Garden creating a beautiful willow flower support under the guidance from Heather. Heather is a very patient teacher (believe me she needed a lot of patience as a few of us found the support quite challenging at times) On arrival i was greeted by Lorraine who made us all feel very welcome. Lorraine provided us with a very tasty lunch made by herself and using some of her own grown ingredients from the walled garden. We finished off the day admiring our Willow supports over tea and coffee accompanied by a very tasty homemade lemon drizzle and then a walk round the garden. All in all this was a fantastic day and when I got home I went straight to the website to check out other events I could...

What an amazing day my friend Glynis and I had at the Willow Angel day. From making sure we had directions to the warmest of welcomes to the most quaint and quirky workroom to the delicious coffee breaks and lunch all included. Then we had the actual weaving of the willow, I could not have received more encouraging guidance and help down to being able to go to the field and cut my own pieces of willow to add even more character to my Angel. Thankyou all it was a great day much needed....

Lovely location and nice walled garden but an absolute nightmare for anyone even slightly unsteady on their feet. I seriously wonder if there has been any kind of risk assessment done as the grey stone chips were laid but uneven and patchy. If they were laid to even out the surface, it didn’t work! There were random bits of piping and black plastic everywhere. The talk was interesting the home made cakes lovely but I think 20.00 was excessive and the perimeter needs to be made...
