Thought I would try this beach as it’s one I haven’t been to before and is all year round dog friendly. I had read that there was parking for 50 cars, but had some abandon caravans in. When we got there, it was all closed off so no parking except on the vergers ( read that people had got tickets for doing this) not sure if you can park in the caravan site or not. We risked it and parked on the verge and thankfully didn’t get a ticket. Very unclear how to get to the beach, but if you walk towards the far end of the caravan site, there is path which leads down to the beach, it’s not easy to get down onto the beach so beware if your not sure footed. The beach itself, was pretty quiet and we walked left until we got to a concrete jetty and could walk no further. Had a paddle in the sea, it’s mainly a sandy beach with areas of pebbles. To be honest I wouldn’t bother coming here, I would much prefer to head to fraisthorpe...

Lovely quiet beach. There are 2 ways onto the beach, if you turn right from the road there's a steep sandy path down (this could be hard for some people to manage) or if you turn left you go around the edge of the camp site and down a path by a field - here there are a few easier routes onto the beach which are not steep (but a wheel chair or scooter wouldn't be able to get down here). We walked to Bridlington and back along the beach one day and the next day we walked in the opposite direction to Skipsea (Only do this when you know the tide is out, else walk on the coastal path because there are limited opportunities to get off the beach due to eroding banks/cliffs and you don't want to get trapped by the sea ). Whilst sitting on Barmston beach we could see dolphins jumping in the water not too far from the shore! Sadly on this same day we also saw a dead seal on...

This beach is an absolute gem. I was staying nearby but its easy enough to drive to and catch a bus to (nearest bus stop is around a 10 minute walk.

The entrance to the beach is opposite the Barmston Parkdean resort.

The beach doesn't have a cafe or toilets but because of that is much quieter. It's a very picturesque sandy / pebble beach. You can also take your dog 🐕 on there as I did most days whilst there.

It's a beautiful beach and I'll definitely...
