Lovely place for a walk, perfect for a picnic on a sunny day as lots of open space. Circular walk is fairly short but there are lots of ways to vary your route and make it longer.
There is car parking but this is limited. Have always been able to find a space so far but wonder if this may be more tricky in the summer. All car parking is free which is nice!
Just as a warning, the path is trodden dirt and therefore becomes quite muddy after rain. Would recommend decent walking shoes and would probably not be appropriate for pushchairs or...

It is safe for children to play with parking spaces. It's great listening to cuckoos in spring, woodland species & ducks in summer & redwings & fieldfare in winter - to name just a few.
