Henllys Golf Club — Attraction in Beaumaris

Absolutely beautiful place. Friendly staff, residents, clean, tidy, appartments are beautiful. Amenities were a really nice touch. We stayed with a relative, the appartment was spacious, clean, it is a quiet place to have a relaxing time away. The local walks are beautiful and the history to the place is really interesting.

Wonderful scenery with views for miles. Although the weather wasn't great it didn't stop us exploring and having fun. Especially walking in the rain along with playing bowls. There is a games room, washing and drying facilities...

Decided to take my clubs on holiday just in case! Good decision as i got fed up of waiting for the family to get ready every morning, so booked a round here. Enjoyed it so much i went back the following day. Only wish I'd found it earlier in the week.

Fairways and greens were in as good a condition as anywhere I've played. Not a long course but that's countered by quite penal rough and not much margin for error around a few greens. Some internal o/b too. Really makes you think about your shots.

Nice quirky course. Hadn’t been cut for a while but that’s due to the weather, not their fault.

Unfortunately half the flags (if not more) were temporary, basically just stuck in the grass well in front of the green. Understandable due to the weather, but it could have been mentioned on their website or when booking. I would say that was the only disappointment about the whole round, even with the crazy wind!

Would like to come back and play in the summer when greens are normal and the weather is a bit...
