Even though I had obviously heard of Budle bay being a born and bred Geordie. I had never been there so I was really quite excited to go. Except I got a bit of a shock when I stepped onto the sand. As I started erm well SINKING into the sand!!!!!!!!! Which made me ever so slightly nervous. Luckily I was ok and I didn't sink any more than an inch or 2, but it certainly spiced the day up a bit.
