Well worth the visit & we feel blessed to have the park on our doorstep which we use for walks & cycling and visit a lot more in the winter. For a park that is so enormous, with it being 6 miles across at one point, what does let it down is the limited public conveniences - which they have at the visitor centre & Town Gate playground if they're still there, which is near the visitor centre, which doesn't really help if you are in the centre of the park or on the other side of the park. And they now plan to start charging for parking...
Read moreA wonderful park to walk dogs absolutely stunning place, so many places in such a large park, spent many hours here for over 40yrs, well looked after by the rangers it will be a shame if the rangers are stopped as I've heard, this park is park of the Sutton Coldfield people and it's a great park to bring children with a few playgrounds and eatery's, beautiful lakes and pools with an abundance of wildlife from wild ponies cows and donkeys(if they are still here) I've seen the rac rally here the fair (carnival) and even radio1 25th anniversary concert amd I hope to see many more years of this...
