Fun short walk in the countryside. I did see the red kites mentioned on the sign. Really nice views from the path. It's a reasonably easy walk from the carpark (it is quite muddy in the carpark so take appropriate footwear); walking the complete length of the path and back again took about 1 hour walking at a slow pace. There was plenty of spaces when we went. There are no toilets here. Worth a stop by if you are in the area.

Has a free carpark behind the village hall, an information board as you go through the gate. We were there 28th July and there were cows, bullocks by the entrance. Very interested in our dog so we went off the path to the right, still a public path, adjacent to the field. No toilets or cafe, unsuitable for the disabled .

Loverly little quiet place for a walk. Small car park behind the village hall. No facilities on site. There is an easy path along the bottom. If you are more adventurous then there are various walks up and down the rises. Views are great. Beware…. Many dog walkers and they all don’t pick up afterwards.

Beautiful! You can park at the village hall for free and then it's a short walk. You can walk either at the bottom of the "valley" or take a higher route. The higher route connects with a bridleway that takes you up to the road to Foxhill (for the Ridgeway). I've only ever come down from the Ridgeway to the Coombes, but the bridleway is very well maintained by the local stables and there are some lovely views from there too.

If you are in the area, be sure to check out the Bishopstone Lynchetts - another...

There is plenty of parking. The walk it up a gentle hill on a well defined path between shrubs and trees . The view improves with altitude . On this day it was quiet and unoccupied. It was raining slightly so we cut the walk short , not completing the full loop . It is recommended or insisted that dogs are on a lead due to expected encounters with livestock. We didn’t see...
