Go there daily with the dog (have done for the last 4+ years), lots of friendly off the lead dogs and social dog owners. There a large football field in the middle with metal goalposts and a large gravel path leading around the lodge and past the pond area. Local "Friends of Eatock Lodge" have a clean up drive every few months to keep it litter free; in general the paths are clear of dog poo. Sometimes get swans an a heron at the pond, there's also a terrapin and some coy carp in...

Superb place to go & take a dog for walk meeting up with other dog owners. Remarkable place to take young children for them to see & feed the Birds especially the Swans. On occasion's you may see Fishermen Fishing at the the Pond. Which is nice to see especially when they are with the Children. Could do with more Litter...

Quite small free access green space on an old mining site - main attraction on the fine day when we last visited is the birds, swans with cygnets, squabbling coots and the odd moorhen. Easy walk with the pushchair and the 10 year old was able to try out his new camera photographing...
