Growing up in this area I've always enjoyed hall lee bank park (old park)as it's known to us locals. It's great for a slow Sunday stroll through the small forrest,bike ride,jogging or a welly walk as we call it through the river,with 3 small ponds on the top fields it's also good for fishing if your into that. Read moreNot easy to find, no signs but park on Park Rd near the end and there is a path leading into the woodland park. We made mistake and turned L immediately and got on very muddy path. Go over the bridge and turn L - good path to the next bridge, carry on to next bridge and return on opposite side. Short pleasant walk but appeared we could have gone further in both directions.
