Not easy to find, no signs but park on Park Rd near the end and there is a path leading into the woodland park. We made mistake and turned L immediately and got on very muddy path. Go over the bridge and turn L - good path to the next bridge, carry on to next bridge and return on opposite side. Short pleasant walk but appeared we could have gone further in both directions. Lovely peaceful place to walk.

Love this place. It's where I spent most of my time as a kid, great for kids and adults beautiful setting with a small river running through always clean and tidy well looked after and has 3 ponds on the top where you can go fishing. Also the myth of the white lady at the entrance tunnel on the far side

Great place to walk dogs the 2 geezers and bike man have done a hell of a job cleaning all the rubbish left by the local uncouth, who sometimes go there to chug down cheap cider that they got the local nonce to buy for them.

Growing up in this area I've always enjoyed hall lee bank park (old park)as it's known to us locals. It's great for a slow Sunday stroll through the small forrest, bike ride, jogging or a welly walk as we call it through the river, with 3 small ponds on the top fields it's also good for fishing if your into that. In need of much restoration and clean up,it'd also be nice for picnic areas to be introduced, maybe even a play area on the clearing in the middle next to what used to be the...
