Westhoughton Dog Park — Attraction in Bolton

I would highly recommend westhoughton dog park, what a fantastic place for your dogs. After my first visit I have re booked the area for a number of different days, as they are so popular and In high demand there is a wait list but it is definitely worth it.

Key points 👇 🐕 The area is very large inside with very secure enclosed gates giving your dog/s lots of room to run free securely.

🐕 The area is extremely clean, the grass is always freshly cut, they have the top end CCTV running all around the surroundings areas which is very rare to find considering some of the more local dog parks are really not up to scratch compared to this one.

🐕 There is a lovely shelter with a bench, with all information cards if you need to get in touch with the owners whilst using the facilities, there is water bowls for the dogs and fresh water provided, there is also lots of doggy bags in the shelter and a bin to dispose of your dogs waste that is emptied regular.

🐕 The agility equipment is absolutely fantastic, and you can clearly see a lot of money has been put in to it, not some cheap stuff, giving your dogs lots of activities to do whilst using the dog park.

🐕 it's extremely secure leading up to the park, you turn in of the main road up a dirt track which is probably better than the roads we drive on, there is then a big lovely sign welcoming you, where you enter there is big double gates and then there is a large parking area right outside the actual area your dogs go into, you have your own key code number to enter the park so you don't even need to worry about your dogs jumping out the car before they enter the area as its fully secure from the entrance gates.

🐕 last but not least the owners are extremely professional and friendly and go above and beyond for their customers. And price wise you won't get better great prices and worth every penny.

This place is fantastic and the Facebook reviews and photos speak for themselves, you book a full hour or longer on the park and the exercise your dogs are able to get from it beats any walk or day care. After 1 hours with 2 very energetic dogs they come home and sleep for the evening, not only does this place physically tire the dogs out it also mentally tires them out due to the amount of activities that can be done here.

Wish we found this place sooner! Our 1st visit today with 'Bella' and 'Poppy', and already fallen in love with the place! We booked Field 1 Agility...thankfully no talent required 😆 loads of fun! kept us entertained as they sniffed, tried and ignored (!) the variety of agility equipment on offer. The field was bigger than expected, tons of space for them to safely tank around and they weren't able to see the dogs walking to and using the other field, thanks to the privacy screens, which are brilliant. Completely secure, high fences and gate locked from inside Parking is right next to the field gate so could easily get them from the car and safely into the field. plus there's loads of space and parking for the other fields too. Everything is thought of, fresh water and bowls for the dogs, a shelter with a bench for humans plus a picnic bench and bin for poo bags. The field and equipment were well maintained, it was flat with no dig holes (which we've experienced at other dog parks). Love the easy online booking system. This is the best park ever my dogs and myself have visited. Firstly parking is brilliant right up to the gate so dogs can get out easily straight into the field. Brilliant especially if you have nervous reactive dogs. Took our 6 dogs to the agility field set out exactly how it should be plenty of fun for the dogs and good for the humans too a shelter is provided with water and water bowls , poop bags and tissue a cleaning brush the owners have thought of everything. Can't praise this place enough and would definitely recommend highly. Great experience the actual best point for me was being able to drive right up to the gate so easy to get the dogs on the field other parks have been terrible where parking is quite a distance and its deep muddy path ways almost impossible to walk in if we've had a little rain My experience here at Westhoughton for my dogs and myself was 💯 will definitely have this as our go to park.
