Whilst driving from Southend to Norwich to pick up a motorcycle, my left eye screamed Churchill Tank. My next manouve nearly caused me to crash into the forest! I parked up to photograph the said beast, to find its name was little Audrey. This is my departed neighbours name and my house was brought from Mr Churchill. You had to be a brave lad to take on a Tiger tank and you had to be a brave German to take on a Crocodile. Alot of people died in both Wars.

The is parking on the 1st left as you go past the memorial and trails if you walk further down before the caravan club park. Further down in the entrance road on the left are a couple of WW2 huts as some sort of museum, but it was closed. I had a good walk with the dog and then left. The woods behind this memorial is the very place they practised for the big push. With out a doubt this memorial is an awesome memorial to our brave personnell who overcame extremes to help bring victory in europe.
