Hagley Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The hall is absolutely stunning and made us and our guests feel like we were living in a Jane Austen novel for the day! Charlotte was beyond compare from our very first meeting, to planning out the day, to being there on the day itself, making sure that everything ran like clockwork. Charlotte was professional and friendly, ensuring that we were happy with every detail and aspect of our wedding.

We elected to use Hagley Hall’s in-house catering team and were blown-away by the quality of the food and drink. The locally sourced venison from Hagley Park was a particular highlight. The table service on the day met our exacting specification. Richard was an exceptional Master of Ceremonies. He was a consummate gentleman and brought an additional layer of joy and entertainment to the day and to all of our guests. It feels like we have received compliments on Richard from everyone who he interacted with!

The weather wasn’t exactly what we had planned for the day, but the team at Hagley Hall were flexible and accommodating. Lord Cobham even met with us the day before our wedding and made some special arrangements to keep the plans for the day on track for perfection. On the day itself, Charlotte, Richard and the team were calm, cool and collected when helping us handle unforeseen circumstances, allowing us to adapt our plans to keep the day running as smoothly and as enjoyably as possible.

We have received positive feedback from all of our guests and even our suppliers on the brilliant hosting service that the team at Hagley Hall provided. Every guest and supplier had their individual needs taken into account and were superbly catered for.

It is rare to meet people so passionate about delivering perfection and we cannot thank the team at Hagley Hall enough for everything that they did for us on...

We have visited many museums and stately homes over the years, and I guess that means we are not easily impressed - but this place is seriously impressive. Hagley Hall is filled with museum quality antiques - not just a few in a room, or in glass cases: every beautiful room we were taken to by our guide was filled - one might almost say littered - with fine antiques, many of them quite outstanding examples of their type.

The words 'breathtaking' and 'stunning' are overused - but they really do apply to the stone carvings, plasterwork, carved oak furniture, paintings, tapestries, and other beautiful items in this undiscovered treasure of a place. When we arrived at lunchtime, we were the only visitors there! So we had a leisurely guided tour from a well informed guide.

Oh yes - the coffee and the cakes in the tea room were well above...

At the beginning of August 2024 my son and his fiancé got married at Hagley Hall and had the most amazing day!

From the very first viewing we were blown away by the beautiful venue and from start to finish Charlotte was incredibly professional and accommodating and happy to answer any questions we had. Nothing was too much trouble.

On the run up to the wedding we also met with Richard and Sue the housekeeper who were both very friendly and extremely helpful and made some great suggestions for the wedding day set up.

On the day of the wedding Charlotte and the team at Hagley Hall worked amazingly together to make the special day a huge success. All the guests were in awe of the stunning venue and we feel privileged to have been able to have the event in such a...

This wonderful paladin style stately home , is under the historic house umbrella. So if you are a member then entrance is free. If not then pre booked adult ticket is £10 or £12 on the day. The house is open for house tours between 16th Jan and 19th March 2023. The tour I was on , was first class , the guide knew everything without referring to notes. The house and grounds are beautiful . Everyone we spoke to was so welcoming including lady Cobham. There is a cafe and toilets on site. Parking is by the adjacent church (also worth a visit) . There is no photography allowed on the tour. An excellent and informative day out

Went along on Easter Sunday. They use the words “ Easter extravagance. “ Wow Extravagance was not a word I’d use. 3 Adults One elder, she will hate me for that. And a child. £38, what a rip off. If it had not been fur wanting to enjoy our Easter break I would have asked for a refund. What was the charge for. Not even an Easter treat for tge 3 year old. And please don’t say I should have asked. Fur £38 I expect. You failed. Who ever is in charge should look long and hard at themselves. Be honest. Do you think there is any value?

Beautiful historic house with amazing plaster-work, artefacts, gorgeous views, incredible rooms and dedicated staff. We were very well looked after while waiting for the tour to start, the guide, Jan, was very knowledgeable and entertaining and we had tea and sandwiches served with a smile by Janet and Wendy. Well worth a visit. But only open early in the year so check before you go.
