The "Singing Ringing Tree," located in Burley, is an innovative musical sculpture , the structure is made from galvanized steel pipes arranged in a tree-like form, and it stands atop a hill, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. What makes this installation unique is its ability to produce sound. As the wind passes through the pipes, it creates an ethereal melody that resonates across the area. The sculpture's design is not only visually striking but also acoustically ingenious, allowing it to transform nature's breath into music.Visitors to the Singing Ringing Tree can experience this enchanting soundscape, which varies with the wind's strength and direction, making each visit a unique auditory experience. The site has become a popular attraction for both tourists and locals, inviting them to engage with art, architecture, and nature in a harmonious way.In essence, the Singing Ringing Tree is more than just a visual spectacle; it embodies the synergy between art and the environment, celebrating the beauty of sound and the landscape. Whether you are an art enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, this sculpture offers a moment of reflection and wonder. I had a lovely time with family 😀😀

An unusual sculpture/construction hardly a piece of art? I think something more fitting to Lancashires past would have been better but its worth a visit if your out walking. The views are great into Yorkshire and also over Burnley. Their are historical battle field sites and woodland walks in the immediate area as well as two reservoirs. Parking is easy with a purpose built carpark and other parking along Crown point. People with Disabilities can get to the sculpture as it has a stone aggregate path but wheelchair users would probably need someone with them. There are picnic benches if you want a table for food...

Brilliant invention. Unique in the East Lancashire landscape. This Panopticon is very cleverly designed and the tones from the pipes can sometimes sound like an orchestra. I can imagine on a warmer day sitting here and simply enjoying the sound. There is parking in various spots but not that many. The views are great however on cloudy days such as the day I visited, visibility is limited but creates a great canvas for clearer photos! Yes, you can capture the sound on your phone, it is all about positioning and the pipes humming at the time of course. Nice attraction to visit!

A nice little spot with a unique and quirky attraction, in the shape of.....well I suppose it is meant to be an artistic take on a tree, but if you've seen the new Justice League movie it looks more like bad guy Steppenwolf than a tree, to me anyway. The sounds that come from it in the wind are actually quite haunting, but pretty wonderful at the same time. The only let down was the limited amount of parking spaces and the 'horrendous' amount of rubbish laying around and bins overflowing. But still, a nice little jaunt out as we are now allowed to roam around outdoors again.

I decided to take a short trip today. I wanted to go somewhere within a specific distance that wouldn't cost me anything, and then I stumbled upon the Singing Tree. After arriving at the parking lot, there was a trail leading to the tree. I must say I was expecting more, as the tree did not really make much of a sound, but I'm not going to let that get in the way of my rating. It was quite windy and you should do your research about when would be best to visit this tree.

Well we’ve been there yesterday as sour friends found this place so we decided to visit it . When we arrived it was very windy but I couldn’t hear the “tree” singing to be honest. It’s a nice place for a walk something that we really enjoyed it . There are a car park around and also there is one close to this structure ( we didn’t know so we parked 15 minutes away from there. It’s a nice place for dogs as well but just be careful with the roads as cars go really fast.
