This is well worth a visit. Plenty of earthworks to see from the iron age hillfort, a ruined church, and a spectacular view over Cardiff. There's an information centre, but it was shut on the Sunday when we went. If you're using Google Maps to get here, use Church Road, Caerau as the location, not Caerau Fort, as GM identifies the dual carriageway as the closest place to stop.

Serene, lightly haunting and picturesque at the same time. It's a shame the beautiful church has reduced to ruins. This place is supposed to be the oldest establishment of humans in the region.

Amazing to see this site of an old iron age hill fort. Unfortunately, over the years the church has fallen into ruin and graves damaged.

Great place to walk the dog especially with someone who's been on an archaeological dig up there who can tell you all about it!
