We were disappointed with these gardens when we visited earlier this week. There were several large areas which were under reconstruction so had nothing to show, and as this is a fairly small garden anyway the large gaps had a significant impact on the overall appearance. There were some lovely flowers in the herbaceous border but here again it felt a bit neglected and in need of some weeding and tidying up! The water feature wasnβt working either which didnβt help the general ambience of the garden. Some free parking inside, but mainly reserved for EDF and other occupants so keep left on entry. Plenty of seats scattered around the well formed gardens, so took our time to enjoy the peace. The glasshouse is divided into rooms containing tropical, sub-tropical, water plants etc. There's also weird and wonderful cacti. The Gardens look and feel clean, and most plants are labelled.
