A really fun experience to over look the bear enclosure!
The robe bridge is a one direction only bridge and is divided into 2 sections with a platform between the 2 bridges. This is a good area to pause should there be a jam on the 2nd bridge. We were there when there was a primary school party and some of the children were scared crossing the bridge due to the natural movement of this type of bridge and also walking on a narrow(ish) central rope platform to walk on.
If you're lucky this is a really nice way to look for the bears with minimal enclosure screen blocking for taking...
Read moreReally good and great view of the bears however it would be good to have someone monitoring it during busier periods. We had way too many people on it earlier that it felt unsafe. Massive group of kids swaying it right behind us when I had two autistic children with me. Also witnessed a woman be incredibly rude as she wanted everyone to hurry up because of the que, someone taking guard and only allowing a few people at a time would work better! Read moreWe've been going to Wildwood, Kent for a couple years now. "Set in 40 acres of woodland is a chance to see over 200 British animals in their natural habitat". It's an absolutely fantastic day out, so much to see and lots to keep my Daughter occupied. My Daughter really enjoys the European Bears Rope Bridge. It's 35m long and 4.2m high, not for faint hearted as it can sway a bit. Where else can you walk over 3 Brown Bears? It's such an amazing view into they world - Definitely a must do...
