Caravan and camping park in the middle of the actual park. Beautiful views around. Everything from the time of online booking to the check out was very straightforward. Camping place was clean. Toilets, loundry room, showers, fridge, washing and drying machine- all available at the place . There is a guard but he is only to specific time, anyway it seems very safe there . The camping is placed in the middle of the Carnfunnock Country Park with a lot of walks, gardens and attractions/activities for children. Park closed at 7pm, check on the website to make sure about it as its not the same closing time every day. There is a Visitor Centre inside Park with lovely cafe and tables outside as well as nice small Pub a little bit more than a 1 mile away from the park (Matties Meeting House). We spend there a wonderful time and definitly come back one day again.

Glad it wasn't raining. Stopped at Parklands Cafe and they sold filter coffee which gets a star from me. After all, you need to get the basics right. My wife had a scone which was good value and she loved it. I had a sausage roll which they heated in the microwave so it was soggy, flaccid, and unpleasant. Sitting outside is lovely with decent picnic seating and good views but the decor inside is awful. It looks like they borrowed the furniture from a 70s sitcom. The walled garden made for a pleasant walk and the time garden was interesting and informative. The place advertises as being dog friendly but passably dog tolerant would be more accurate. They are banned from most areas that you would want to visit.

Amazing park Outstanding for families, tourists, etc. - makes for a great day out. You only have to pay for parking so if you walk here, you don't need to pay to be there but you can still pay for things like food and drink. Also there is a free car park if I remember right near but not in Carnfunnock, go for it if you and any children you have are content (if you do have any) Many things to do/included (I might miss some as I don't have perfect memory of the park) • Big, quality playground - excellent for kids • Green grass for a picnic etc. • Picnic tables • Camping! • Exercise machines • Fun Area designed for kids! Including but not limited to a mini train ride, bouncy castles, walking on water (inflatable balls on water), bungee, mini golf, and the rest... see for yourself! Prices not too bad in general • Restaurant with decent food/drink • Gift shop - ok prices • Mini golf course • Ice cream/Ice lollies - a tasty treat for summer • Fair amount of parking • Flowery gardens - nice • A maze, based on Northern Ireland's geography! Interesting, especially the first time • Trails to walk/run/cycle and enjoy the scenery • Toilets in several key areas like the gift shop - very important that there are toilets everywhere Just great. I love this park. Come visit in the spring/summer for a...

The location is excellent and there is loads to do at the park, unfortunately I think our daughter is just a bit young for most of it at only 2 and a half. Also we had our dog and quite a few of the areas on site are not dog friendly. The price is good given that there is so much to do on site. My main issue was the toilet block. We stayed there Thurs-Sat and the showers were not cleaned once. I used the same cubicle 3 times and the same balls of hair lay on the floor for the duration. Gross, especially given that it was fully booked. Secondly, we were pitch 30. Think of it as the centre of a very busy roundabout. My main worry was the proximity to the bins but this wasn't the issue. We were circled by kids on bikes from 8am-10pm. It was so noisy and chaotic. They lit upon us every time we sat outside our motorhome, especially when we had food out. I love kids and have worked with them for years, but this was too much. No adult supervision. At one point a child just climbed into our motorhome for a nosey while we were eating...

Enjoyed our day out here and my son loved the play park and activities they have. The reason I am not leaving a 5 star review is due to the face painting and tattoo stall right beside the play park. My 5 year old son had just finished running around in the park and wanted his face painted so after taking him to the toilet to wash and dry his face we went over however the women working there clearly couldnt be bothered at all and said he was to sweaty to do it on despite him being washed and dried. Clearly she couldnt be bothered at all and her attitude stank. I literally turned around 5 minutes later and she was on her hands and knees on the filthy floor pulling little weeds out so god knows how hygenic that stall is. Luckily we went to the miji train, bouncy castle and water balls straight after and luckily that put the day back on a more positive note. I-d strongly suggest having a word with that tattoo woman or have more sense and move it away from beside the play park if she doesnt want to deal with kids that have been...
