This is an OK museum, we have been to a few over past couple of years and this has prob been my least favourite as young 'un wasn't able to jump in and out of lots of vehicles like he has with some of the others. This limits the time we spend looking round... They have a impressive model railway set up as well as the buses, but I think we only really managed to drag it all out to about an hour stay. Read moreGreat place with lots of vintage buses. Its located in an old bus depot and still has some of the rooms set out as they would have been when the depot was active. There is also a large model railway set upstairs (there is an admission charge for this, but the rest is usually free). Toilets, cafe and limited disabled access and parking are available. A fine collection of buses from mostly the Essex area, with a couple of fire engines, the knowledgeable owner of one, had some great stories to tell from his time in the Fire Brigade.
