Dishley Pool — Attraction in Charnwood

Dishley Pool is a lovely spot if you enjoy fishing or just want a peaceful walk in nature. The water is well looked after, and the surroundings are quiet and relaxing, making it a great escape from busy life. Plenty of anglers were about when I visited, and everyone seemed to rate it highly for good catches and a friendly atmosphere.

Parking is straightforward, and it’s easy to get to from Loughborough. The pool itself has a nice balance of open water and shaded areas, so it’s a good place whatever the weather. Definitely a hidden gem in the area – whether you’re fishing or just enjoying...

Lovely little nature reserve, well worth a visit. You can walk a loop around the pool, lots of spots to get close to the water and see the birds, with small fishing piers dotted around extend a short distance into the water.
