Hello everyone! We came to visit the park for a walk and picnic. The park has several entrances and several parking lots, I recommend finding out the appropriate entrance and parking location in the park before arriving at the park. And this is because the park is large and spacious. The first thing you notice is the vegetation, the trees and the grass which are amazingly maintained. The grass is mowed and pleasant to sit on in the permitted places. The trees around the park also look in excellent condition. There is a huge structure inside the park for holding weddings and family events. There are designated areas for dogs and horse riding. There are several playgrounds for children. Near them there are toilets, a kiosk for coffee, sweets and soft drinks. Everything looks maintained and clean to a high standard. There is a small artificial lake with a fountain and a family of ducks swimming in the lake. Around the lake there is very rich vegetation and different types of flowers. Throughout the park there are tractors mowing grass and workers tending and cleaning the flowers, trees and vegetation. You can spend several fun and family hours inside the park. Highly recommend a visit to the park. Thank you and have a wonderful day! Reuven

Nice place to go for a walk. There aren’t many places in Chelmsford where you can go for a long walk in a big park. However, the parking fee is really expensive, and puts me off from coming here. Surely Chelmsford council should be encouraging people to get outside and go for a walk. Not put people off because of extortionate parking fees. It’s really disappointing that councils seem to feel the need to charge people for being in nature. The Deli cafe is lovely for some lunch and coffee.

Beautiful place park to visit! Especially the gardens during spring time. Perfect for a walk with the dogs or as a family. Has a caffe and few shops around the park. Photos were taken by me on my camera during my walk.

Hylands Park is a lovely local park where you can walk and run your dogs if you have any or just enjoy a peaceful walk/run with family/friends or by yourself. There are lots of lovely cafeterias dotted around the park that sell coffee and ice cream if you are craving any. There are lots of car parks if you want to drive or there is about a 15 minute walk to the C4 bus that you can get to/from the bus station. Overall, Hylands Park is...
