Absolutely awful. Parking system is terrible. We were one minute over because we had to queue to get out and the machine insisted that we had to pay a pound. Most places we have used have a system to deal with this sort of thing fairly but not Chichester Marina. The help button put us through to a marina employee who insisted we had to go back and pay as he could not override the machine. This meant all the cars behind us had to back up as well. The machines are pay by card only but this is not clearly detailed except in very small print. A chap got caught out while we were there and had to pay somebody to use their card to get out as he did not have a debit card on him. As far as I could tell the marina parking system would be ruled an unfair contract as the terms and conditions are not clearly displayed. A small notice on the side of the parking machine with terms and conditions displayed in miniscule writing has been ruled unenforceable in court many times. This is such a shame as the place itself is very picturesque. But not picturesque enough to make us want to go back there after today's farce. Go...

The copse is a nice circular walk but make sure that you go when it's dry: the path can be very muddy. There're public toilets located near the copse, that are open all day. From the copse you can walk...
