Amazing views once you get to the top of this steep hill. Not easy to find though. Path is very lumpy with tractor and heavy animal footprints, so it's not for wheelchairs, those that need smooth/flat ground to walk on. We parked on the country lane and followed the footpath up. It's about a 15 minute walk to the top.

Lovely walk, but very steep from the Child Okeford side if you walk anti clockwise around it. Wish there was mote information available to show you what was there years ago. Disappointing seeing as it is National Trust. Although, it was free!

This is a good walking area with clearly marked footpaths. A walk from Child Okeford to the top of Hambledon Hill and then down to Shroton on the other side is well worth doing . There are great views of the surrounding countryside.

Absolutely stunning views from the top. Gorgeous! There is however very little information about the old fort so make sure that you bring information such as a guide with you of you are interested in it and not just there...
