The staff at the Old Saw Mill cafe (where you can purchase the tickets from) were extremely helpful. The cafe itself is lovely and provides ample seating should you want a drink or something to eat on arrival or after your visit. There are also picnic table and benches outside in what used to be a small carpark. The nature trail itself is interesting and extremely quiet with information boards along the way. The way to the cave itself is along a wide track (dog friendly) on a slight incline. On arrival at the cave, you get a short safety briefing and hard hat, along with an A4 self-guide of things to see along the way. Backpacks have to be left at the entrance to the cave The cave itself is stunning and well lit. Plenty to see. Note that you have to crouch down in a couple of places (one for for a few metres) but, if you've gone to the trouble of going to the cave, it just adds to the experience. You can spend as long as you want in the cave but to slowly walk through it (and back out the same way) takes around 40 minutes. Well worth a visit if you...

Didn't really know what to expect as we have been on the way to the cave and I didn't really looked at the route to it. As we have gone through the entrance in Clapham it transpired that there is small fee for use of the path (1 gbp for an adult and 50p concession). Let's be honest, it isn't the dearest I've seen hence I had no issue paying it. It soon transpired that this money is definitely going in to the upkeep of the trail. The trail is very well looked after really nice. apart from initial slightly steeper part everything else is roughly same level. The views along were really nice and the place clearly is dog friendly. Lack of rubbish bins along the route also means that you need to take your empty packages and containers with you. (To be honest if you were strong enough to bring it full, taking it away empty should not be an issue.) All in all, the trail was very nice. Would I come back? Definitely as I'd love to see that route on different...

Walk is nice and pleasant, reception staff nice. I'd say the walk was worth £2.50.

My only dislike was the old woman in the cafe at the end, denies you using the bathroom unless your paying to go to the cave, even after stating I'd buy a drink and snack still reluctant to permit me using it and instead suggested I find a bush if it can't wait or use the one at the entrance a mile away lol. Went on to talk about difficulty having drainage...but clearly have a toilet next to the cave. Perhaps you can put a sign at the front that states you can use the loo at the end if you pay to see the cave only!

Why not use a bit of your profits and invest in a portaloo if you want to keep the cave toilet separated. I can only imagine that you must have thousands of customers ask to use it a year especially young kids...just outrageous arguing with your customers who are offering to buy stuff...
