Nice place for a short walk beware of where you tread on the open grass field as it seems to be rather popular with irresponsible dog owners who don't pick up their dog's mess . The pond is nice and so is ancient wooded area ..

Great to explore and pretty big if you get into the woodland. Good for dog walks and parking is avaliable. Another park to mix it up and has benches dotted around for a break and a couple of picnic tables that I saw too.

The park is nice, car park enough for about 9 cars. My 7 year old liked feeding the ducks and then we went for a walk around the woods. Unfortunately as we were walking a runner stopped just at the entrance of the woods at the top of the stairs and relieved himself( had a wizz) I informed him that was against the law my daughter and myself saw this and I took a picture of him running away( 55 years old, black shorts, white t shirt, blue Nike Trainers with a green N...

A natural park with good walks and a lake where you can feed ducks but not bread. Youngsters love it plus they can run without worrying about traffic.Sad though that Colchester Council do nothing about the Ivy on the three trunks that will eventually suffocate ,choke and kill the trees which have been there for...

Easy to walk to. You can easily socially distance. Just a bit on the muddy side today but again great walks close by. There is limited parking but as we are in lockdown you should be able to walk here without worrying about...
