Lovely park and grounds. It is kept tidy and clean by the council. There is a small toilet block also a disabled toilet. There are no refreshments sold there ATM But they do have a a small hut which is fully equipped for the preparation of food to be purchased by park visitors. They have a bowling green and cricket pitch. Also a basket ball court fully fenced off with high fencing and gates. It's become a lovely park and somewhere to have a stroll with family /friends or even the dog.. nice and pieceful for those picnics in the summer months. And the famous bandstand I remember being there from a child myself is still in pride of place. Many benches dotted around if you need to rest a while .There is a small child's nursery situated in the grounds with a small car park. And extra parking at each end of...

Great little local park, tennis courts, lawn bowls, local cricket team plays home also. The bottom end of the park has benches for your leisure, big enough grass area for a picnic with the family and children, easy flat access for wheelchair users with toilets also. There's Waunfawr community garden where volunteers work and help preserve various plants, greenhouses and outdoor events for people of all ages to help with the gardening aspect, as well as meeting new people and friends. The top of the park has a football and rugby pitch, with a children's play area also, with seating benches along the way, with a few large trees to sit under in the summer shade as an option. Some nice flowers to look at also. Well worth a visit if you want a relaxing few hours with the kids, your partner, or...

Simply a must visit. All parks should be like this one. Clean, neat, tidy and safe. Parking is plentiful and free. There is a child's play park. An all weather football/basketball area. Football and rugby pitches A wonderful bandstand that is used throughout the spring and summer months. Cricket pitch and Bowling green (not public). There is a small cafe on site, but I'm unsure of the opening hours. The park keepers here really do take pride in this place and it shows. Rarely will you see litter. Trees, shrubs, bushes, flowers and grass are always perfectly tended. Whether it's a quite stroll with the dog or an afternoon out with the kids you won't go wrong here. Highly...

Suitable for all individuals. Usually a little booth open in the center of the park near the bandstand that sells refreshments, although this is typically for college terms during the day, although there are also toilets nearby. There are two bandstands for shelter, including a bigger and a much smaller one with a bench type of seating available. There is a basketball court, pitch to play rugby, football and cricket, and also exercise apparatus within the park, aswell as plenty of benches with nice views to relax and enjoy.

Great place to take the kids or the dog for a walk, wide open field, which is great for outdoor sports or letting the dog stretch their legs. As for the park itself, there's enough there to keep the lil ones occupied, benches for picnics etc, the park has been kept very tidy, no rubbish anywhere. There is also a little kids for drinks and some toilets, which are some of the cleanslest public toilets I've been in, there is also a basketball/5-a-side court. Great place!
