Dense woodland used by many dog walkers. Nice collection of deciduous trees such as beech, birch, chestnut and sycamore which makes for varying interest year round plus a few conifirs, holly and rhododendron for some winter greenery. Ground can be hilly,, uneven and muddy as there are no laid paths. Small, surfaced and free carpark just off main road. Slightly spoiled by the electricity pylons and wires.

Beautiful woodland which is perfect for walking and taking dogs. The wooden pathways through the woods are scenic and make the walk enjoyable. There is a host of wildlife including a range of birds and endangered ground-nesting birds and depending on the season that you visit you may see deers, heffers, horses.

We visited here for Sunday walk:) this place is really wild park. We can smell full of fresh tree 🌲 we walke about 2hours. If you want walk more you can walk longer. Lots of people walk with dog 🐶. And nice weather so we didn’t need to wear Wellington boots. Parking free!

Have passed this place a few times now, so I thought I would treat my pooch to a new park and she loved it. Not a great amount of parking but I found a space with no problem. Other walkers were pleasant, but most of all my dog just couldn;t stop wagging her tail. Its a huge place with lots of dirrering terrains to explore. We will be going back and I recommend to all...
