If you are looking for a nice and quiet beach that is out of the way forget it. It was rammed with irritating people who had zero sense of personal space or respect. The problem is it’s a small beach and with the internet everybody knows where everything is. The beach was full of people who were not watching their dogs or kids and had no respect for anyone else. Bloody litter everywhere as well. It winds me up how people behave in shared public spaces. In the summer you are better off going to a huge beach like Tenby because at least you can create a bit of distance from others. In terms of the beach, the sand was black, which absorbed heat and was therefore very warm to lay on - I assume it was slate based. Read moreThis beach was a very pleasant surprise. It has a good sized parking area complete with toilets and a cafe bar adjacent to the carpark. The slightly dark sandy beach has views out towards Fishguard. If you're up for a walk from here, then there's ample coastal paths leading around Dinas headland with views out to sea. Look out for dolphins.
