Had a penguin feeding experience for myself and my daughter booked for my birthday, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The penguins are well looked after, and the keeper we had guiding us, Holly, was very knowledgeable and informative. I didn't know we were going to but we took the penguins for a little walk about before feeding which was great fun, waddling about encouraging them to get some exercise although Bubbles was the only one that didn't take a shortcut to rush back for the fish! Spent the rest of the day wandering about the rest of the park to see some amazing animals and learn about the help and conservation they do. It wasn't too busy when we went and had lots of space. I think we saw pretty much everything. I highly recommend feeding the birds in the tropical walk too, but be prepared for a hectic rush of feathers when you get the little pot. They don't hold back, and you might end up with one on your head or shoulder, but they were lovely, and it was all great fun. There are plenty of areas to grab a snack or drink or something more substantial if needed. They have a great soft play area inside and many outside areas that cater for all ages. I even managed to climb up the larger Fort with my daughter and try out one of the lower slides (only to encourage her, of course!) The dinosaur trail is looking a little tired now, but there's lots of work being done on extending and improving the animals' habitats, and that's where you want the money to be spent. All in all, lots to see and do for a great family day out. I would also recommend their experiences and want to go back for another to learn more about these animals, many of which are sadly on the endangered list.

What an incredible day at Wingham Wildlife Park! Our visit was a kaleidoscope of adventure and joy that left an indelible mark on our hearts. Accompanied by two eager young explorers under 10, we embarked on a journey that surpassed all expectations. The highlight of our day was undoubtedly the mesmerizing sight of a dedicated staff member feeding the awe-inspiring tigers. Standing in close proximity to these magnificent creatures was an experience that words can hardly do justice. The air crackled with excitement, and our hearts raced with anticipation as we witnessed the raw power and grace of these incredible animals. From start to finish, the park was a symphony of colors and emotions. Laughter echoed through lush pathways as our little adventurers encountered creatures from around the world. The park’s atmosphere was electric, charged with the energy of discovery and amazement. As the sun painted the sky in warm hues, our day at Wingham Wildlife Park unfolded like a series of vibrant canvases, each moment more unforgettable than the last. The passion and dedication of the staff were evident in every corner, creating an environment that truly fosters a deep connection with the animal kingdom. This day will forever remain etched in our memories as an enchanting tale of wonder and excitement. A heartfelt thank you to Wingham Wildlife Park for providing us with an experience that transcended our expectations. If you’re seeking a day filled with awe, laughter, and unforgettable moments, look no further than this incredible haven of nature and adventure. Highly recommended!

The park itself is good plenty to do but the indoor cafe and staff let it down. We ordered two jacket potatoes which were fine but my mum ordered a ham salad at £5.70 which came in a small bowl and absolutely nothing on it nor Available, when i asked if they had any salad dressings ect i was told i had to purchase a sachet of mayonnaise at 40p which i refused also as my mum cant eat mayonnaise. They then said they don't do any dressings so i asked for a refund on the salad, to be told no refunds and to buy a sachet of mayonnaise again after speaking to the cafe supervisor who still kept saying i can not refund you i asked to speak to the manager her reply was there is no one available, eventually out of nowhere the hospitality manager appeared and again offered me mayonnaise but this time free when i explained my mum Cant have mayonnaise and we wanted a refund to be told still no we dont allow refunds and on the board we don't say with sauces. As i have worked in catering in the past i explained there is no reason as to why a refund cant be made as it was not what i thought it would be. The managers are rude and obnoxious and seeing by other reviews we were not the only ones who have had this issue. Its a real shame and nothing more than money grabbing. If you are to visit please be advised even if your food is disgusting or not cooked correctly you'll be met with sorry no refunds which is absolutely diabolical. This has definitely made my judgement on here and after visiting a few times before i will never be returning as the cafe staff have no respect for customers at all.

First time visiting this large Kent zoo. Visited by car – a bit off the beaten track for public transport, although no doubt there are options. There is a huge car park to the front, with many spaces for cars and coaches. Entry was quick and painless – get your tickets online and they send you a barcode that you scan on arrival. You can also pay on arrival, but booking in advance like this saves you £2.50 a ticket, so why wouldn’t you, really…. Also available to book are various experience things like time with the wolves, otters etc. Not sure how those work. They stamp your hand on arrival – ‘Wing’ – I assume this lets you return to your car if necessary and get back in again. Inside, park is well laid out with large enclosures – lots of animals to see on the day, including big cats, primates and wolves. There were also giraffes and those miniature kangaroos that you sometimes see. There was also a moon bear, but we couldn’t really get near that on this visit. Lots to see – there is also a reptile house, penguins and various exhibits involving insects. Large wolf enclosure, but no visible wolves on this occasion – presumably all hidden away to the rear. They have one of those areas with the fibreglass dinosaurs which you see so often nowadays – also something similar with giant model insects. Lots of places to sit down and get food or drink scattered around the park. A good way to spend a few hours – plenty to see and do. Well worth a visit.

Visited Wingham with my family and was incredibly impressed with it! A huge park with a large selection of animals. It was really well laid out, clean and tidy and the staff seemed really attentive to the animals. We went on a Monday so it was really empty but it's clear that the place is designed to cater for loads of people at one time... so I'd most definitely recommend going during the quiet periods! Stopped for a coffee and snack in the coffee shop, which is about a quarter of the way round, and then another at the restaurant at the entrance/exit - prices were a little steep but no more than to be expected in a place like this. Overall would highly recommend a visit! NB - having revisited the park on a Saturday, I'm forced to drop a star from my last review. The main reason for this being the coffee shop (visited the first time there). The prices felt absolutely crazy! £2.90 for a bottle of coke?!? The place was run by kids who seemed to be run by a Manager/Team Leader who seemed out of her depth and giving no direction or leadership to the situation. The place was overrun. Over half an hour queuing just to pay a tenner for two thimbles of coffee (which had no taste at all and was binned) and a bottle of water. Very unimpressed.

A Great day out! My husband and I came here on Tuesday 23rd August to celebrate our 3 years marriage and as a celebration we arrange to feed the Otters. Had so much fun feeding this cuties. The two young ladies who guided us though the experience were so fun, helpful, full of smiles, happiness and gave us lots of interesting information about the otters. A great time had here. Definitely recommend for families with children. Good, fun day out! Unfortunately we were held back at the start as the line for entry was long and our experience started at 11.45, just a little suggestion, maybe have two separate lines for entries, one for general zoo days out and the other for experiences with the animals. One other thing I'd like to add is I think more signs around the zoo to help people find where to go, got a bit confusing at times. About 30mins before closing of the zoo, we decided to go back to see the Bears and Orangutans and wow, this is when they were at their best.. we saw the bear taking a bath and playing in the water and the Orangutans swinging the ropes. It was incredible, watching and taking in the moments, moments of nature, animal characteristics and behaviour.. for me it was just brilliant. We both had A fab day so thank you.
