I visited Lower Bruckland Farm for a family party. Absolutely wonderful environment to let the kids roam around the site unsupervised. It was warm enough throughout the evening to just wear a tshirt, but it crossed my mind that perhaps the open plan nature of the event space might have been a little cooler had the weather not been so pleasant. DJ and bar closed at 10:30pm, but assuming it would have stayed open for longer had there been demand.
The only bugbear was the single track road in and out of the site - of a vehicle came the other way, thereās no passing points, so it requires a lot of reversing cars to let folk get out.. otherwise a lovely venue and happy to...

Dave the owner, seemed more interested in making money, then ensuring the wedding went well!
Dave was aggressive, intimidating, and completely out of order!
The aggression from him and his staff was completely unacceptable. The whole reception was overcast by his negativity.
To add to this, we were having a fire (that had been confirmed acceptable by Dave, if off the floor) and Dave drove at high speed towards the guests around the fire, meeting with aggression and threats of fines.
All in all, it was a beautiful location, but ruined...

The owner is very rude, a drink was spilt at the bar, then the owner decided to chuck a bowl of hot soapy water on the floor then a groomsman slipped over. We were then told the bar will be getting closed due to to many drunk people...
