Branscombe has several National Trust owned small properties - a Forge, Baker Cafe, Mill and walks to and from the beach
Regrettably (not shown on the NT site) all but the Forge are shut in winter - including the toilets!
Fortunately the village hall has toilets.
The NT car park is tiny - 4 or 5 cars at most so do not expect to get a space on busy (sunny) days
Walk through the village and fields to the beach is very pleasnat with good signs and clearly marked paths.
Beach side parking is pay and display near the Shanty Beach cafe (separate review)

Read moreSuch a shame although lockdown had been lifted when I visited which was first week in June 2021 the Forge/blacksmiths was just open to walk round there was no information what so ever use to happen there or any talks happening. The mill and tea rooms were shut - tea room not due to open till Spring 2022! Which was a surprise. There was nothing else besides these 3 outlets and a pub which was quite a way away.
