Beautiful scenery, amazing views, and so very peaceful. Some paths are extremely muddy in wet weather, but you can enjoy the beauty from the East Devon Way, which is actually tarmac at this point, as it follows a private road to the farm. There's a carpark across the main road which is a good size, and has doggy poo bins so there's no excuse for not picking up after your dog(s)!

Stunning place for a walk. We did the 3 mile, red route which takes you along the stream, past the pond, and gives you the chance to see so much wildlife. Definitely worth a visit. We loved it.

Great to see this unique habitat. The one and only heathland. And we even saw the Dartford Warbler. Great place.

A gem of a place to visit. Plenty of interesting birds from Stonechats, Dartford Warblers and even the occasional Sparrowhawk. Adders can often be found on the South side of the reserve. I sometimes come here to volunteer for the RSPB and lend a hand with scrub clearance and general maintenance. During the summer there is Heath Week so the reserve is transformed from the usual greens to pinks and purples. There is also the Big Wild Sleep Out, Tractor rides and pond dipping for the kids during summer. A great...

Beautiful heathland on Devon Pebblebeds. Birds including Dartford Warbler and nightjar, butterflies and dragonflies. Lovely walk to include open heathland and woodland edges with birds and butterflies, pools with lots of dragonflies in the summer. Parking across the road opposite the reserve entrance. BE CAREFULL COSSING...
