Sandy Bay Beach
In the realm of sandy shores and glistening waters, there exists a place known as Sandy Bay, an idyllic haven that commands the admiration of all who set foot upon its golden sands. As I ventured forth into this coastal sanctuary, I found myself enraptured by the breathtaking vistas that unfolded before my very eyes. With each step, the fine grains of sand caressed my weary feet, their warmth a gentle reminder of nature's embrace.
Sandy Bay, true to its name, boasts a beach adorned with sand so pure and radiant that it rivalled the precious treasures of the Seven Kingdoms. The golden hues of the shoreline stretched forth, shimmering under the sun's benevolent gaze. It was as if the bay held a secret pact with the heavens, ensuring that its sands remained eternally kissed by the golden light.
But it was not only the resplendent sand that captivated me. The crystalline waters that embraced the bay were a sight to behold. With each crashing wave, they revealed their true nature, their depths concealing a myriad of marine wonders. In their clarity, one could observe schools of fish darting through the currents, their vibrant colour painting an aquatic tapestry against the backdrop of the azure expanse.
Yet, amidst the serenity of Sandy Bay, an unexpected element intruded upon the senses—an intermittent symphony of distant gunfire, emanating from a nearby firing range. The percussive echoes mingled with the soothing rhythm of the waves, a juxtaposition of tranquility and martial vigour. It served as a stark reminder that even in the most peaceful of realms, the remnants of conflict and struggle can make their presence felt.
As I wandered along the shoreline, I could not help but notice the harmonious interplay of nature's elements. The harmonising melody of seagulls echoed in the breeze, blending seamlessly with the soft lapping of waves against the shore. It was a chorus that only the gods could orchestrate, a symphony that whispered of the timeless beauty of this coastal haven.
To immortalise the allure of Sandy Bay, I beheld its picturesque vistas through the lens of my mind's eye. The play of sunlight upon the ocean, casting iridescent hues that danced upon the water's surface. The gentle sway of palm trees, their verdant fronds swishing in unison with the sea breeze. Such visions, captured forever in my memory, bear testament to the majesty that Sandy Bay exudes.
In the realm of Sandy Bay, where golden sands meet the crisp embrace of the sea, one can find solace and serenity, the essence of a paradise born from the realm of dreams. Though the distant echoes of the firing range may stir reminders of a world beyond, the beauty that unfolds here is a testament to the timeless allure of nature's grand design. Let the winds carry forth the tales of this coastal realm, and may its splendour endure for eons to come.

Read moreWe've just came back from a weekend stay with our under 8's rugby tour. We booked 35 caravans altogether. We was told the week before we'd all be altogether that wasn't the case. My husband and myself was forced to upgrade on the day so that our son wasn't left out of the kids all being together. Despit upgrading to prestige our caravan wasn't ready until 4pm. This should of been a 1-2pm check in time. I was given coupon to spend on the complex while we waited but couldn't use it against any activities for my children to do. So i had to empty my case and find the kids swimming gear for my husband to take our boys swimming and keep them occupied. I was told to wait for a text that never came saying when my caravan would be ready. It was just after 4pm I got in. We had an itinerary made for our whole group before we left home. This listed meeting points and times so we could all be together. we know the phone signal isn't the best on site. Friday evening and Saturday day was fine and worked well with our large group gatherings. Saturday night the place we was meeting was fully closed to us (bugsy's) we was told owners only. We thought that was very strange considering the park was full, with it being half term plus our 35 caravan load! We went down and across to capones which was jam packed at 7pm and the whole top section was closed off to owners only again!! We tried the sports bar which was full, and would never have been enough seats for us all anyway. We was all standing up in the arcades when at 8.15pm we decided there was nowhere to go so all went back to our own caravans. Missing out on our main night out because some ppl travelled back home Sunday for work Monday. We was really gutted about this and some ppl was wondering around looking for others till gone 9.30pm before leaving. I can't understand why on school holidays you'd close one club house and section off nearly half of the other. We had really upset children that wanted to stay out, but nowhere for us we could go! Really disappointed with this and it really ruined...

The caravan we stayed in was in need of a little TLC. Stained and uncomfortable couches. The place was quite entrenched with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. The facilities were adequate in the van. The shower was a little mouldy but all in all, it did the job for 2 nights. I was there with a group and had use of capones night club. This was filthy!! Floors, walls, tables and chairs in need of a good scrub!! Food options were ok with Burger King, Papa Johns, fish & chips etc. We had dinner at the Mash and Barrel both nights, standard menu. Saturday night was curry night...(Not that great...save for your favourite local indian). Im not a fan of the bright flashing light arcade thing thats seems to be everywhere...but may appeal to locals. The pool area was great for all the family..very well done. The weather wasn't favourable (Yes...all their fault they should be able to control this by now 😉) so didn't get much of chance to utilise the outdoor activities which did look good at catering for all ages with segways, adventure courses, mini golf etc. I was impressed with the mini mart...pricing was reasonable and a very good selection for self catering holidays if you forgot anything. Fantastic looking beach and beach cafe...could use a good barrista or two there, coffee wasn't great. It is an investment...but if travelling...there certainly are worse...ohh and the staff on check in and out were extremely...
