I decided to treat my teenage niece and nephew to an outing at the aqua park whilst on a short break in the area.

We arrived 1 hour early as it requested on the website but were met by utter carnage! There were diggers working next to the lake taking no safety precautions whatsoever reversing extremely close to children and dogs. There was no signs saying where to find the aqua park once in the holiday village and when we did manage to locate it there was just 2 huts surrounded by lots of people so we just headed that way in hope we could check in for the session. Upon reaching the area with the huts I waited patiently in line to let them know that I had booked on the website for the 12pm session however there was just 1 man trying to deal with about 50 people at once so there was cash being handed over, people getting their own helmets and wetsuits without knowing they were the right size, some people were signing disclaimers, others not, some people were just grabbing the wetsuits and helmets and joining the groups about to start or even the current groups - There was no organisation whatsoever, no one had a clue what was happening which is worrying considering something like this needs strict health and safety processes in place. When I finally got noticed I was told to come back in 30 minutes, bear in mind the last session was already running 22 minutes late that would have meant nearly a full hour of a rare days holiday wasted so I wasted no time in having a good moan and saying exactly what I thought. To be fair to the guy, (that turned out to be the owner) was really apologetic and came back to me twice during the session to talk to me, apologise again and to confirm he agreed with my comments and that it was a new business that had only started in May so they were still trying to build it up. After a discussion with him I felt my concerns were taken on board and I live in hope that a new system will be implemented.

Once we finally got on the aqua park I have to say it was great! My niece and nephew as well as myself had great fun. It was exhausting but exhilarating all at once and despite its small size there was easily enough to keep us entertained for the full hour. Overall we had a fantastic time and I would recommend a visit to anyone regardless of age, had it not been for the initial problems I would definitely...

This place is awful. I would say it is good for kids up to 12. Our kids enjoyed it although said is not I. Their top 5 aqua parks. Myself and family frequent aqua parks a lot we have been to all the East Midlands ones and a few in wales and this one is terrible. I don’t understand the lack of wetsuits yet the need for helmets? There is nothing high to jump from and no slides, so I’m unsure of the reason behind the helmet other than uncomfort. Also not being allowed to wear water shoes was off putting as I wanted to protect my feet and have grip. Definitely not worth the money, I would seek an aqua park with slides and towers to jump from. The pictures on the site are from either another aqua park or another year as it looked nothing like what we arrived to!

In regards to your misinformed reply - we did nothing of the sort, you must be thinking of someone else as we had no ranting or raving and nobody was around or near us when we were talking to the elderly guy for all of 2 minutes! On the day we asked a couple of questions but just got on with it! And please delete “upmarket”out of your reply as this is a serious misrepresentation of the holiday park you are based on! (As per all other reviews on their site not mine) on the day I believe we spoke to one person who was actually really nice and informative! And I was with a group of children so how can the other adults be shaking their head when we were not with any and none were near? Please be more informed before replying it’s an embarrassment. P.s yes we were the only family in wetsuits all other guests were in bikinis or less than 😱 p.s.s also not much safety considering one kid got called out with a bleed to the nose the helmets did nothing and I pulled numerous kids out of 2 not very safe zones. (again folks look to other aquaparks their safety and fun is 100% better and their websites not outdated or embellished) oh and Richard is that you fat shaming a woman in your reply? “Even...

We were staying at Tattershall lakes country park and our boys really wanted to do the aqua park on the lake but with the times that were in covid and limited numbers we couldn’t get them on there so I done a search and found this place only a short drive away and wow our boys loved it great social distancing better than on Tattershall hand gel used before getting in the lake I was really impressed how well it was run and at a great price with hire of wet suits which is optional but our boys said they were glad they had them to keep warm it was a great day out boys slept in the car on the way home they were so tired and haven’t stopped talking about it.man who runs the place is lovely chats with everyone and I must say is doing a great job and we will definitely be returning when we holiday down there again well done all that work there so if anyone is staying on Tattershall lakes and have the same problem we did give this place a go you won’t be disappointed it was brilliant and we came away with to...

This is a fantastic Aquapark for all the family ,on arrival we were given a good safety briefing, lifeguards are visible all around the lake and all the staff are friendly but very safety conscious, wetsuit are thoroughly disinfected prior to use ,our kids who’s age range from 21 through to 13 loved the total wipeout course the fun they had , we stayed onsite and watched the lifeguards prior to it opening every morning out with scrubbing brushes cleaning down all the equipment this Aquapark is Safe Clean & Fun the lake itself has a beach at one end which is cordoned off for young kids safety and the water has a lovely Blue Hue , then the Aquapark and at the top end cordoned off for paddle boarding and kayaking a fantastic day out for all and the guy who owns it and his lifeguards must be commended on the professional safe welcoming fun filled family day out

Great day out, During our visit we did the kayaking and a few of us did the main activity that can be seen on the photos attached to this review. Personally I didn't do he main activity as I prefer to kayak, the self launch was great as the was a good area for me to do a laps on the kayak. The main activity was good according to the people who did it. They seemed to have fun and it was fun watching them as they seemed to like falling into the water. In conclusion I highly recommend going if your near by as it's a good family day out plus the lake looks amazing and is very clean compared to some of the other places I've been to in the past.

We go each time we're near Mablethorpe because it's ace. They changed the layout since last year, there's not as many high items, but still really really brilliant fun. The website had a cost to save 10% and most of us didn't bother with wetsuits as it was warm or grip socks (A good thing to get if you're unsteady) Easy to get to, easy to park, cafe for drinks and benches for grandparents to watch from. The pics below are from a previous visit. Really one of the highlights from our holiday.
